Patriot Assistance Dogs has six rooms available for Veterans attending the 5-day class in Detroit Lakes, which can be used at NO COST to the Veteran. These rooms are in the main building on campus. One of the rooms during each class week will be reserved for the mentor that will be staying on campus with the Veterans attending class that week. The remaining rooms are being offered to those Veterans that live out of town, and who may find that the lodging cost in Detroit Lakes is a financial strain. Veterans are not required to stay on site.

Each room has a queen bed, ample closet space, a chair and a lamp. There are two community bathrooms (handicapped accessible), a common room with a television and a shared kitchen. We do not provide toiletries or towels. We do provide bedding. As we offer this service at no charge, we do not have a housekeeping staff. Guests are expected to maintain the cleanliness of their rooms, and clean up the areas they have used in the common rooms. There is a washer and dryer on site.

Please read through the following campus rules before requesting a reservation.
